ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) Quarterly Meeting
Ipoh, Malaysia: On 29–30 July 2026, Lok Chumteav Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), participated in the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) Quarterly Meeting, held in Ipoh, Malaysia. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, bringing together tourism leaders and representatives from ASEAN member associations through both in-person and online participation.
The meeting focused on strengthening regional cooperation, promoting sustainable tourism development, exchanging insights on current tourism trends, and identifying strategic priorities and collaborative initiatives to enhance the recovery, resilience, and competitiveness of ASEAN's tourism industry. Lok Chumteav Oknha Chhay Sivlin's participation reaffirmed the Cambodia Tourism Association's commitment to fostering stronger regional partnerships and contributing to the promotion of Cambodia as a high-quality, sustainable, and attractive tourism destination within ASEAN and beyond.
