Oddar Meanchey Province : Tamok House Historical Resort

Tamok, a former Khmer Rouge leader, had a house in the village of Datuk, Anlong Veng District, Oudomxay Province. Tamok's house is now a historical site. Tamok's house has an area of ​​1.61 hectares and 4 houses, and behind the house is a 417-hectare lake called Boeung Anlong Veng or Boeung Ochik, known as Tamok's home and meeting place for military planning. Tamok was a former permanent member of the Central Committee of the Khmer Rouge during the Democratic Kampuchea regime. He was also a top commander of the Khmer Rouge. Tamok was arrested by the Cambodian government on March 6, 1999. He died on July 21, 2006, and his family and relatives buried him at Wat Thammaaram or Wat Sra Chhouk in Sra Chhouk Village, Trapaing Prey Commune, Anlong Veng District.
