“Miss Planet International 2025” to promote Cambodia as a safe tourism destination.
Under the collaboration of Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodian Tourism Association, and Ms. Hali Amy, President of Miss Planet International, the event was held in Phnom Penh under the chairmanship of H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, who was invited to deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the Miss Planet International 2025 finals round, which was attended by H.E. Ek Buntha, Undersecretary of State for Culture and Fine Arts, and more than 2,000 national and international guests from countries around the world. The event also featured 33 contestants from 33 countries and was broadcast live to audiences on all continents of the world.
On this occasion, H.E. Minister highlighted that Cambodia is a safe and secure tourism destination with high tourism potential, with natural resources, cultural heritage, beautiful coastlines, and the warm hospitality of the Cambodian people. In addition, H.E. Minister stated that Cambodia has been ensuring the safety and security of all international travelers and tourists. Hosting the Miss Planet International 2025 event in Phnom Penh also demonstrates Cambodia's ability and potential in organizing major international events, as well as demonstrating the safe and secure environment and vibrant development of Phnom Penh, the heart of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
