CATA joins a meeting to discuss promoting tourism cooperation between Cambodia and Nagoya.
Nagoya City, September 24, 2025 – During
a working visit to attend the Japan Tourism Expo 2025 and the Tourism Ministerial Roundtable Meeting, Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of CATA, together with a senior delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and the private sector, met with Hirosawa Ichiro, Mayor of Nagoya City, to discuss establishing tourism cooperation between Cambodia and Nagoya. This important and fruitful meeting emphasized shared tourism potential, including world heritage sites, and highlighted the longstanding diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Japan. Both sides agreed this cooperation will help promote both destinations and ensure steady tourism growth year after year.
