Workshop on the strategic guidelines for the Angkor Tourism Corridor.
Kampong Thom Province: Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association, attended a consultation workshop on the strategic guidelines for the Angkor Tourism Corridor, connecting the provinces of Siem Reap, Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, and Battambang. The workshop was held under the high presidency of H.E. Dr. Thong Khon, Senior Minister in charge of Special Mission and Chairman of the Siem Reap–Angkor Tourism Development Management Committee, and was welcomed by H.E. Nuon Pharat, Governor of Kampong Thom Province.
The objective of the workshop was to gather input from relevant stakeholders in order to develop a strategic tourism corridor that enhances connectivity among key destinations and strengthens the attractiveness of the region for both domestic and international tourists. The participation of the President of the Cambodia Tourism Association highlights the active engagement and support of the private sector in aligning with national tourism strategies and promoting regional tourism connectivity. The event was held at Glorious Hotel, Kampong Thom.
