India–Cambodia Travel-Trade Virtual Meeting.

The India–Cambodia Travel-Trade virtual meeting on the promotion of the Buddhist tourism market was hosted by the Embassy of India to Cambodia under the presidency of H.E. the Ambassador, with the participation of members of the Cambodia Tourism Association. The discussion focused on strengthening the connection between Angkor and Bodh Gaya under the concept “Angkor and Bodh Gaya – Sacred Journey,” which is considered an initial step toward promoting direct flight connectivity between the two sacred cities.

During the India–Cambodia Travel-Trade and Tourism Promotion Hybrid Event, held on 21 February 2026, both sides exchanged views on strategies to promote the Buddhist Tourist Circuit and to enhance bilateral tourism cooperation between Cambodia and India. Members of the Cambodia Tourism Association shared valuable insights and constructive recommendations to further support the promotion of the Buddhist Circuit in Bihar and to strengthen tourism potential between the two countries.
